Jennifer Butenschoen
Tap & Hip Hop

Jennifer had a love of dance since the age of 10. After an ice-skating injury, she was forced to stop skating. (Fun Fact: she skated many years with Tonya Harding). She was introduced to dance, and started tap, jazz and ballet in Portland, Oregon. As her love was instant for tap, tap & hip hop carried through to teaching as an adult.
She has taken from may famous choreographers in LA and NYC, including her favorite master tap classes at Steps on Broadway.
Her background in tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, musical theater and hip hop will make her a great addition to our KAPA Family. She has a HUGE love for kids, and caring for high school students with special needs is what she has done for 14 years. Jennifer also owns a custom cupcake & pupcake business called SugarCakes for the last 9 years.
She has a love for her church, Crossroads Community Church in Vancouver, loves her fur-babies, family and friends!
